You don't play the game for the individual awards, but because you love it.  You don't normally need accolades to feel good about your efforts when you leave it all on the field.  But sometimes……..awards sure feel good don't they?

We're feeling pretty good today because the Diamond Gem softball cleats & spikes were just awarded the 2010 Fastpitch Cleat of the Year by Softball West Magazine.
 

"Each season, Softball West prints its annual Uniform and Equipment Preview," states Softball West Magazine publisher Tom Smedes.  "Using my 28 years of publishing and a softball magazine and a 35 year history of playing the game along with input from our staff of experienced softball players and writers, we chose the highest quality and most innovative products from our Preview as our award winners."

The Diamond Gem line was actually given its name by RINGOR customers who contributed to an online poll prior to its launch.  The model (along with the Diamond Star) was given the American Podiatric Medical Association's Seal of Acceptance for contributing to quality foot health - the first softball footwear to ever receive this distinction.
